Article 3 bis: Protection obtained through international registration may be extended to China only upon a specific application by the owner of the mark;
Article 14, paragraph 2, paragraph 4: This Protocol shall apply only to trademarks registered after China's accession into force. However, this is not the case where a domestic registration identical with the aforementioned trademark has been obtained in China and is still valid, and can be recognized as an international trademark upon the request of the party concerned.
After China's accession to the agreement, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce should do a good job in the domestic cohesion of the implementation of the agreement, and pay attention to the trademark of China's export commodities registered abroad to obtain international protection provided for in the agreement. The formalities for notification of accession to the Agreement are handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
