Trademark Office: Notice on the Registration of Trademark Agencies

For trademark agencies/practitioners that have not re-registered, the Trademark Office will no longer accept/accept their agency business.
In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on the Implementation of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Trademark Agencies", and in accordance with the requirements of the "Announcement of the State Intellectual Property Office on the Result of Re-filing and Review of Trademark Agencies" (No. 529), the relevant work is now The notice is as follows:
1. The information of registered trademark agency practitioners will be associated with the trademark agency business, that is, registered trademark agency practitioners can submit trademark agency business, sign and bear legal responsibility; non-registered trademark agency practitioners cannot submit trademark agency business and cannot apply for trademarks. Sign the book. The Trademark Office will not accept trademark agency services submitted by non-registered trademark agency practitioners.
2. For trademark agencies that have not been re-registered, the Trademark Office will mark them in the trademark online service system and trademark agency system, and will no longer accept their trademark agency business applications, except for unfinished trademark agency business. If a trademark agency has no outstanding agency business, the Trademark Office will cancel its registration.
If the above-mentioned trademark agencies intend to continue to engage in trademark agency business, they should apply for new registration separately. They can go through the "Agency Registration Application" column of the trademark online service system and select "Registered Agency Registration". After the new registration is approved, the trademark agency can submit an application for trademark agency business; if there is unsettled agency business when handling the new registration, it can continue to handle the original unsettled business after the new registration is approved, and the original digital certificate will continue to be valid.
