After a trademark registrant obtains registration, he or she can license others to use the registered trademark with or without compensation by signing a trademark license contract. When a trademark registrant licenses others to use it, it shall report its trademark use license status to the State Intellectual Property Office for record, and shall supervise the quality of the goods used by the licensee using its registered trademark. The licensee shall ensure the quality of the goods using the registered trademark and indicate the name of the licensee and the origin of the goods on the goods using the registered trademark.
