If others need to use a registered trademark, they need to sign a trademark license contract with the trademark registrant, in which the trademark registrant serves as the licensor, and the third party using the trademark serves as the licensee. In the contract, the specific matters for licensing the use of the registered trademark need to be stipulated. For example, the time and scope of the license, the amount of the usage fee, etc. During the validity period of the license contract, the trademark registrant shall register and submit the registration materials to the State Intellectual Property Office, describing the licensor, licensee, license period, scope of licensed goods or services, etc. Although the filing or not of the licensing contract does not affect the validity of the contract, the registered trademark licensing act is effective against third parties.
