How to calculate the amount of damages for design infringement?

The calculation of damages for design infringement involves two situations:
(1) When the product design is inseparable from the product itself, it is relatively easy to calculate the amount of compensation for infringement losses when the design of such products is infringed. The defendant's sales profits can be directly used as the amount of infringement compensation.
（２）If the design of a product’s packaging bottles, boxes, bags, or boxes is infringed，when calculating the amount of damages, the amount of damages should be calculated based on the price and profit of the design product itself. All commodities such as liquor, beverages, and photography cannot be used. The profits gained from the equipment package shall be compensated to the patentee as the infringement losses, but specific divisions must be made, otherwise the calculation scope of the compensation will be expanded.
