The national copyright registration situation in 2022 is now notified as follows.

1. Overall situation

The total number of copyright registrations nationwide in 2022 will reach 6,353,144, a year-on-year increase of 1.42%.

2. Copyright registration status of works

According to statistics on work registration information from the Copyright Bureaus of various provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government and the China Copyright Protection Center, a total of 4,517,453 works copyright registrations were completed nationwide in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 13.39%.

The overall number of copyright registrations for works nationwide shows an increasing trend. The cities with the largest number of registrations are: 1,047,270 in Beijing, accounting for 23.18% of the total; 491,594 by the China Copyright Protection Center, accounting for 10.88% of the total; and 382,000 in Shanghai. , accounting for 8.46% of the total registrations; 334,896 cases in Jiangsu Province, accounting for 7.41% of the total registrations; 285,834 cases in Fujian Province, accounting for 6.33% of the total registrations. The above registrations account for 56.26% of the total registrations nationwide. Compared with 2021, the growth rate of copyright registrations for works in Heilongjiang, Ningxia, Hunan, Yunnan, Guangxi, Hebei, Liaoning and other provinces (regions) exceeds 100%; works from Shanxi, Jiangxi, Gansu, Fujian, Anhui, Qinghai and other provinces The growth rate of copyright registration exceeds 50%.

In terms of types of works, the largest number of registered works are 2,133,962 works of art, accounting for 47.24% of the total number of registrations; the second is 1,603,228 works of photography, accounting for 35.49% of the total number of registrations; the third is 349,350 works of text, accounting for 349,350 pieces of the total number of registered works. The fourth is 197,806 film and television works, accounting for 4.38% of the total number of registrations. The number of copyright registrations for the above types of works accounted for 94.84% of the total number of registrations. In addition, there are 51,768 sound recording products, accounting for 1.15% of the total registered number; 46,144 graphic works, accounting for 1.02% of the total registered number; 33,212 musical works, accounting for 0.74% of the total registered number; and 21,902 video products, accounting for 1.02% of the total registered number. 0.48% of the total; there are 4,985 models, dramas, folk arts, architectural works, etc., accounting for 0.11% of the total registration.

3. Computer software copyright registration status

According to the statistics of computer software copyright registration information from the China Copyright Protection Center, a total of 1,835,341 computer software copyright registrations were completed nationwide in 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 19.50%.

Judging from the distribution of registration areas, computer software copyright registration areas are mainly distributed in the eastern region, with about 1.17 million registrations, accounting for 64% of the total registrations.

Judging from the number of registrations in each region, the provinces (cities) with the largest number of computer software copyright registrations are: Guangdong, Beijing, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Sichuan, Hubei, Anhui, and Fujian. A total of about 1.33 million software copyrights have been registered in the above-mentioned regions, accounting for 73% of the total registrations. Among them, 238,781 software copyrights were registered in Guangdong Province, accounting for 13.01% of the total number of registrations.

4. Registration of copyright pledge

According to the statistics of copyright pledge registration information from the China Copyright Protection Center, a total of 350 copyright pledge registrations were completed nationwide in 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 5.91%; the number of contracts involved was 291, a year-on-year decrease of 18.49%; the number of works involved was 1,521, a year-on-year increase of 41.09% ; The main debt amount involved was 5,446.8733 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.26%; the guarantee amount involved was 5,450.9275 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.89%.

There were 282 computer software copyright pledge registrations, a year-on-year decrease of 17.06%; the number of contracts involved was 282, a year-on-year decrease of 17.06%; the number of software involved was 1,453, a year-on-year increase of 38.91%; the main debt amount involved was 3.6937733 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 9.88%; involving The guaranteed amount was 3,691.1339 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 5.34%.

There were 68 copyright pledge registrations for works (excluding computer software), a year-on-year increase of 112.50%; the number of contracts involved was 9, a year-on-year decrease of 47.06%; the number of works involved was 68, a year-on-year increase of 112.50%; the principal debt amount involved was 1,753.1 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease An increase of 307.38%; the guarantee amount involved was 1,759.7936 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 308.94%.
