State Intellectual Property Office: "Advice on Data Intellectual Property Protection" online opinion collection activity launched

Accelerating the establishment of a data property rights system that protects rights and interests and is used in compliance with regulations is an important part of building a data infrastructure system. The "Outline for Building a Strong Intellectual Property Nation (2021-2035)" and the "National Intellectual Property Protection and Application Plan for the 14th Five-Year Plan" both propose "researching and constructing data intellectual property protection rules." To this end, the State Intellectual Property Office has launched an online opinion collection activity called "Suggestions on Data Intellectual Property Protection" from January 28 to better support the research and policy formulation of data intellectual property protection rules.
It is understood that the "Advice on Data Intellectual Property Protection" online opinion collection activity is part of the "100 Enterprises Survey" on data intellectual property rights of the State Intellectual Property Office. The public can search for the questionnaire entrance on the official website and official Weibo of the Bureau. The content of the questionnaire covers the main ways and difficulties for enterprises to protect data achievements, the needs and difficulties of enterprises in conducting data transaction operations, etc., and will provide a relatively complete "portrait" of the protection of enterprise data intellectual property rights. This collection of opinions is scheduled to end on February 15, 2023.
