State Intellectual Property Office: Announcement on the Comprehensive Implementation of Electronic Patent Certificates

To continue to improve the informatization and facilitation level of patent examination services, the State Intellectual Property Office will fully implement the electronicization of patent certificates starting from February 7, 2023 (inclusive). If the party applies for and obtains patent authorization in electronic form, the electronic patent certificate shall be downloaded through the patent business processing system; if the party applies for and obtains patent authorization in paper form, the electronic patent certificate shall be downloaded according to the method notified in the "Notice of Receiving Electronic Patent Certificate".
In order to implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on strengthening the construction of digital government and continue to improve the informatization and facilitation level of patent examination services, the State Intellectual Property Office will fully implement the electronicization of patent certificates starting from February 7, 2023 (inclusive).
If the party applies for and obtains patent authorization in electronic form, the electronic patent certificate shall be downloaded through the patent business processing system; if the party applies for and obtains patent authorization in paper form, the electronic patent certificate shall be downloaded according to the method notified in the "Notice of Receiving Electronic Patent Certificate".
