In order to further improve the quality and efficiency of patent examination and provide the public with efficient and convenient examination services,the State Intellectual Property Office decided to launch the "Patent Business Processing System" on January 11, 2023, to integrate and optimize patent electronic applications, online supplement and management of patent payment information, patent affairs services, PCT international patent applications, international design applications, etc. business system.

The "Patent Business Processing System" will support the web version, mobile terminal and client. After logging in, registered users who have improved user registration information through the unified identity authentication platform can submit invention patent applications, utility model patent applications, design patent applications, and PCT International patent application, international design application, PCT national phase application, submit patent review and invalidation request, electronically receive various notices, decisions and other documents issued by the patent office, pay patent fees, handle patent legal procedures and patent affairs Services and other businesses.

In order to cooperate with the opening of the "Patent Business Processing System", the State Intellectual Property Office will upgrade the relevant systems from January 9 to 26, 2023.The specific timetable and related matters for handling patent business during the upgrade period are as follows:

1. Opened the web version of “Patent Business Processing System”

At 12:00 on January 11, the web version of the “Patent Business Processing System” was launched.Users who have completed their user registration information through the unified identity authentication platform can directly access and use the "Patent Business Processing System" through a browser, and continue to process online electronic applications that have been previously submitted on the China Patent Electronic Application Network and the PCT Electronic Application Network.

2. Activate the mobile terminal of "Patent Business Processing System"

At 12:00 on January 11, the mobile terminal of the patent business processing system was launched, which is used to publish notifications and announcements, complete registration and login, and scan QR codes for authentication and other services.

Notices, decisions and patent certificates issued before January 11th can be received and downloaded through the original electronic application client (CPC, CEPCT). 8. Handle payment

9. Handle Internet evidence storage
