Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office issued a letter approving the construction of a national intellectual property protection center in Hubei Province. After research, it was agreed that Hubei Province should develop a national intellectual property protection center for the biological and new materials industries. So far, the number of national-level intellectual property protection centers under construction or in operation has reached 62, covering 26 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country, and a network of intellectual property protection centers covering major regions across the country has been basically established.

Hubei Provincial People's Government:
The Hubei Provincial People's Government's letter regarding the application for the establishment of a national intellectual property protection center has been received. After research, it was agreed that Hubei Province should develop a national intellectual property protection center for the biological and new materials industries. After the construction tasks are completed in accordance with relevant requirements and acceptance is passed, it will be recognized as a national intellectual property protection center, incorporated into the national intellectual property rights rapid collaborative protection working mechanism, and carry out rapid collaborative protection of intellectual property rights.
In accordance with the requirements of the "Notice of the State Intellectual Property Office on Carrying out Rapid Collaborative Protection of Intellectual Property Rights" (Guozhifaguanzi [2016] No. 92), please speed up the preparations for the establishment of the Intellectual Property Protection Center, strengthen the construction of basic conditions, and ensure personnel and special projects. Funds, office space, and office equipment are in place, and targeted business training is carried out;Combined with Hubei Province biological and new materials industry develop reality, establish and improve various working systems for rapid collaborative protection of intellectual property rights, and standardize work processes and procedures.
Considering the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the preparation period can be extended by 2 months. Please complete the above work within 10 months.
