The State Intellectual Property Office decided to launch a unified identity authentication platform for patent and integrated circuit layout design business at 9 a.m. on December 12, 2022.

The platform is connected to the "Patent Business Processing System" launched in January 2023 (click on the blue words on the right to view👉：Notice on Adjusting the Handling Methods of Certain Patent Businesses from January 11, 2023), enabling electronic applications for existing patents, Unified management and unified identity authentication of registered user accounts in multiple business systems such as electronic bills, patent affairs services, electronic application platform for integrated circuit layout design, PCT international application, and international design application. In accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations such as the "Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China", "Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China", "Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Strengthening Network Information Protection" and other laws and regulations, registered users of each system are requested to log in to the platform in a timely manner to view and Re-sign the user registration agreement, complete the user registration information and bind the mobile phone number. Registered users of legal persons and registered users of agencies should be associated with the person in charge. For specific operations, please refer to the "Complete User Information Operation Manual" (Attachment 1) and "FAQs" (Attachment 2). After completing the above user information, registered users can continue to handle patent business after the "Patent Business Processing System" is online.
The platform will follow the principles of legality, legitimacy and necessity, and properly store and use user information in accordance with laws and regulations.
