Patent literature is the largest scientific and technological database in the world and an important "toolbox" for scientific and technological innovation activities. The reporter learned from the regular press conference held by the State Intellectual Property Office in March that the State Intellectual Property Office attaches great importance to the development and utilization of patent literature. Up to now, it has allocated 540 kinds of patent literature resources and built 👉118 patent literature service outlets. Through public services such as patent information retrieval and analysis, industry database construction, patent navigation, etc. Provide continuous information support for innovation activities.
Wu Kai, Director of the Literature Department of the Patent Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, introduced that the State Intellectual Property Office provides multi-level and professional patent literature services for national strategic science and technology forces, "specialized and special" small and medium-sized enterprises. The patent information service platform for 13 national key industries, including chips, rare earths, automobiles, and traditional Chinese medicine, has been launched to help relevant scientific research institutions and enterprises tackle key technologies and protect and apply intellectual property rights. Professional training on patent information utilization and patent information mining will be conducted for patent document service outlets, technology and innovation support centers, intellectual property information service centers in universities, intellectual property protection centers and other service institutions to effectively improve the professional and standardized development level of patent document services.
At the same time, the State Intellectual Property Office also promotes the dissemination and sharing of typical experience practices in patent information services. Typical cases such as "Technology Research and Development and Protection of Patent Information Support Enterprises" and "Patent Information Support Patent Mining Layout" will be formed to exchange and share beneficial experience in the utilization of patent documents of university enterprises, so as to provide references for innovation subjects and service organizations.
Wu Kai said that in the next step, the value of patent literature will be further explored, information utilization talents will be trained, typical experience will be promoted, and scientific and technological innovation and high-quality development will be continuously enabled. (Workers' Daily)
