From December 1, 2021, the State Intellectual Property Office will collect fees for the international phase of PCT applications on behalf of the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization in accordance with the RMB standard published by the World Intellectual Property Organization, and will no longer be converted to the Swiss franc standard. Recently, China Patent Electronic Application network released on the implementation of the RMB standard in 2023, according to the World Intellectual Property Organization published 2023 PCT application international stage fees of the RMB standard, the State Intellectual Property Office will be charged in accordance with the following standards PCT application international stage fees.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding on Payment of Fees under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) signed by the State Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization, since December 1, 2021, the State Intellectual Property Office will collect fees for the international phase of PCT applications on behalf of the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization in accordance with the RMB standard published by the World Intellectual Property Organization.
