According to the relevant resolutions of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), since July 1, 2022, patent applications involving nucleotide or amino acid sequence tables, the sequence Table electronic document standard applies to the "Recommended Standard for the Representation of nucleotide and amino acid sequence Tables in XML (Extensible Markup Language)", that is, the WIPO ST.26 standard. In order to implement the implementation of the standard, the relevant matters are announced as follows:

According to the relevant resolutions of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), since July 1, 2022, patent applications involving nucleotide or amino acid sequence tables, the sequence Table electronic document standard applies to the "Recommended Standard for the Representation of nucleotide and amino acid sequence Tables in XML (Extensible Markup Language)", that is, the WIPO ST.26 standard. In order to implement the implementation of the standard, the relevant matters are announced as follows:
As of July 1, 2022, national patent applications and PCT international applications submitted to the State Intellectual Property Office, where the patent application document contains a sequence table, the electronic file of the sequence table shall comply with the requirements of WIPO ST.26 standard.
The WIPO ST.26 standard is available on the WIPO website at https://www.wipo.int.
National patent applications and PCT international applications filed before July 1, 2022, The applicant should still submit the sequence table in accordance with the electronic document standards stipulated in the Nucleotide and/or amino acid Sequence Table and Sequence Table (Order No. 15 of the State Intellectual Property Office) and the revision of some characteristic keyword tables in the Intellectual Property Industry Standard < Electronic Document Standard > (Announcement No. 248 of the State Intellectual Property Office).
When filing a national patent application in electronic form, a patent applicant shall, at the time of submitting an electronic document of the sequence table in accordance with the WIPO ST.26 standard, submit a PDF document of the sequence table as an additional fee for the accounting description.
