"Inchip filed a lawsuit with the Intermediate People's Court of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province on the dispute over the exclusive right of layout design of integrated circuits between the Company, Zhuhai Zhirong Technology and Zheng Senjie, involving an amount of about 33,208,600 yuan; On August 2, 2022, it received the Notice of Case Acceptance ((2022) Guangdong 03 No. 5206 at the beginning of the Republic of China) served by the Intermediate People's Court of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. As of the date of announcement, the case has been accepted and has not yet been heard.

Recently, INCHIP filed a lawsuit with the Intermediate People's Court of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province in connection with the exclusive rights dispute of integrated circuit layout design between the Company and Zhuhai Zhirong Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhirong Technology") and Zheng Senjie.

Ask the other party to compensate for the loss of more than 30 million yuan

On the evening of August 3, Yingchip disclosed that the listed company recently filed a lawsuit with the Intermediate People's Court of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province on the dispute over the exclusive right of integrated circuit layout design between the company and Zhuhai Zhirong Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhirong Technology") and Zheng Senjie.

The company is the exclusive owner of the layout-design of integrated circuits with registration number BS.175531811, and Zhirong Technology produced and sold the product "SW6208 chip" suspected of infringing the layout-design of the company involved, and Zheng Senjie sold Zhirong Technology produced and manufactured the product "SW6208 chip" suspected of infringing the layout-rights in Shenzhen. It infringes the legitimate rights and interests of the company and causes economic losses to the company.

Intc requests that Zhilong Technology and Zheng Senjie immediately stop producing and selling chip products that infringe upon INTC's exclusive right of layout design of integrated circuits with registration number BS.175531811, named "IP5328"; And request to order the two to compensate for economic losses of 33 million yuan.

Inchip said that this litigation will not have a material adverse impact on the company's operations, nor will it have a negative impact on the company's current and future profit and loss. In view of the fact that this litigation case has not yet been heard, the specific impact of this litigation on the company's current or subsequent profits is uncertain, and the final actual impact is subject to the court's judgment.

It is understood that Zhilong Technology submitted the prospectus (declaration draft) of the Science and Technology innovation Board in April this year. It is mentioned that Zhirong Technology has obtained 27 invention patents, 23 utility model patents, and 18 integrated circuit layout designs.

Inchip also has products that have been sued

As a semiconductor industry company, in April this year, Zhilong Technology submitted a prospectus (declaration draft), seeking to list on the science and technology board, which is still in the review and inquiry stage. In the prospectus, when introducing the core technical indicators of SW6206 chip and SW6208 chip and related products of comparable companies in the same industry, Smart Finance Technology has also compared the IP5328p and IP5356 products of Yingchipset.

Inchip has also been listed for a short time, going public in April this year, and its prospectus shows that its IP5328 chip has also been sued over patent disputes.

In 2019, Wu Yuchun sued INchip for infringing its ZL201710106020.0 patent infringement lawsuit, pointing to Inchip's infringing products are IP5322 chips and IP5328 chips.

In the course of the trial of the case, Yingjixin applied to the State Intellectual Property Office for the invalidation of the invention patent No. 201710106020.0, which had been made invalid by the State Intellectual Property Office in March 2021 on the basis of "not in compliance with Article 22 paragraph 3 of the Patent Law", that is, not creative.

Inchip believes that the company's chip products claimed by Wu Yuchun in the previous patent infringement lawsuit do not infringe the intellectual property rights of the patent. The technical characteristics of the charging technology method of the product involved in the lawsuit are the same as those of the charging technology method of the same type of product that has been publicly sold in the market before the filing date of the contested patent, and belong to the prior art.

Intc said that IP5328 and IP5322 chips are 18W fast charge mobile power chip, using USB2.0 DM/DP signal to identify multi-port fast charge, with the evolution of fast charge power and protocol technology, INTC upgraded the power and fast charge identification technology of fast charge mobile power chip. In addition to IP5328 and IP5322, the fast charge mobile power chip models all adopt the standard CC signal recognition and processing multi-port fast charge in the USB-IF Association PD protocol specification (industry general protocol standard). In addition, the IP5322 and IP5328 chips are early chip models developed by the chipset, and the corresponding wafers have been no longer purchased since 2019.

From January to June in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, the sales revenue of IP5328 products of Yingchipset was 2.616,700 yuan, 76,300 yuan, 0 yuan and 0 yuan respectively. There is still a small amount of inventory of IP5328 chips, and only inventory chip products will be sold in the future.
