Notice of the State Information Office on the release of the revised version of the Patent Application Request Form and the standard specification of electronic application data

The above amendments will be implemented from January 20, 2024, and the corresponding old forms, electronic Application data Standard specifications and electronic application batch interface will be discontinued at the same time.
In order to implement the newly revised👉 Implementation Rules of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China and 👉Guidelines for Patent Examination , the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) decided to make corresponding revisions to the Patent Application Request forms and electronic Application data standards related to business adjustment.
The specific amendments include: 48 request forms used for patent business in paper form, the revised list and the corresponding form documents are detailed in Annex 1 and Annex 2, the data standard specifications of request forms used for patent business in electronic form are detailed in Annex 3, and the corresponding electronic application batch interface is detailed in Annex 4.
The above amendments will be implemented from January 20, 2024, and the corresponding old forms, electronic Application data Standard specifications and electronic application batch interface will be discontinued at the same time.
The patent paper application form currently in use can be downloaded immediately by logging on to the website of SIPO (http://www.cnipa.gov.cn) under the column of "Form Download" under the column of "Government Services".
Patent applicants and patent agencies are requested to make technical preparations for the internal management system in advance in accordance with the above amendments.
