The meeting held a launching ceremony for the first and third batch of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC) to continue operating after the expiry evaluation. Guangdong Intellectual Property Protection Center (TISC) successfully passed the three-year evaluation and was awarded the license again.
The Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) is a project under the development agenda framework of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Its purpose is to help intellectual property and innovation users in developing countries improve their technical information retrieval capabilities and grasp industry trends and new technologies more quickly. technical information and enhance innovation capabilities. The Guangdong Intellectual Property Protection Center (TISC) has been under construction since 2019 and was officially approved to become the third batch of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) service agencies in China in 2020. In the past three years, in combination with institutional functions, we have established and improved service systems and specifications, gathered basic service resources, continuously improved service capabilities, and provided full-chain service support from creation, protection, application, and management for Guangdong's innovative development.
