Recently, the Shenzhen Intellectual Property Office, together with the Shenzhen Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau and the Municipal Local Financial Supervision Bureau, held a symposium on intellectual property pledge financing in Shenzhen. The main persons in charge of 27 banking institutions, including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, and China Construction Bank, Relevant persons in charge of the Municipal Intellectual Property Finance Association and Shenzhen Financial Services Platform attended the meeting.
It is reported that Shenzhen has been vigorously promoting intellectual property pledge financing. The Municipal Intellectual Property Office, Shenzhen Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau, Municipal Local Financial Supervision Bureau and other departments have guided more changes through policy guidance, financial support, project promotion, pilot implementation and other means. Multiple financial resources benefit scientific and technological innovation enterprises, providing strong policy guarantees and basic methods to effectively alleviate the problem of "financing difficulties and expensive financing" of enterprises, and promote the high-quality development of intellectual property pledge financing in Shenzhen.
At the symposium, the Shenzhen Intellectual Property Office conveyed the relevant spirit of the Guangdong Provincial Intellectual Property Key Work Promotion Conference and introduced the overall situation of Shenzhen’s intellectual property pledge financing; the Municipal Local Financial Supervision Bureau and the Shenzhen Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau introduced knowledge The relevant work status of property rights finance and banking institutions within the jurisdiction; participating banking institutions shared the current status of intellectual property pledge financing, existing problems and difficulties, opinions and suggestions and next plans, and all stated that they would fully carry out intellectual property pledge financing business and strive to complete the full-year Assessment tasks; the Municipal Intellectual Property Finance Association and Shenzhen Financial Services Platform respectively made suggestions on efficient cooperation in promoting intellectual property pledge financing.
The meeting emphasized that promoting intellectual property pledge financing is the current key task of Shenzhen’s intellectual property finance. All units must further enhance their sense of responsibility, take the initiative to take on their responsibilities, strengthen organizational guarantees, improve financial products, promote collaborative cooperation, establish long-term mechanisms, and promote intellectual property rights.
