Recently, the "Implementation Rules of the Guangdong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation on the Patent Reward Measures of Guangdong Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Rules") were issued. The "Implementation Rules" will be implemented on September 1, 2019 and will be valid for five years.
Recently, the "Implementation Rules of the Guangdong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation on the Patent Reward Measures of Guangdong Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Rules") were issued. The "Implementation Rules" have made corresponding adjustments to the award name, number of awards, bonus amount, materials required for application, etc. in accordance with the relevant statements of the newly revised "Guangdong Province Patent Award Measures". First, the name of the award is modified to add related awards. The "China Patent Award Supporting Award" is changed to the "China Patent Award Commendation", and the China Design Silver Award is added. The "Guangdong Inventor Award" is changed to the "Guangdong Outstanding Inventor Award" , and add the Guangdong Patent Silver Award; the second is to increase the number of Guangdong Patent Awards and increase the amount of awards; the third is to adjust the amount of China Patent Awards. The "Implementation Rules" respectively define, refine and optimize the sources of experts, recommendation channels, and review procedures, aiming to further enhance the fairness and impartiality of patent award recommendation and review. In addition, the "Implementing Rules" add supervision statements on key aspects of the patent award review to further improve the fairness of the award process. (Guangdong)
