According to the "Regulations on the Protection of Geographical Indication Products" of the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the "Measures for the Administration of the Use of Special Marks for Geographical Indication (Trial)" of the State Intellectual Property Office, and the requirements of the State Intellectual Property Office's relevant documents on the reform of the approval of the use of special marks for geographical indication products , produces Luogang glutinous rice sticks, Beixiang water chestnuts, Nanxiong salted duck, volcanic kudzu, Qishejing tea, Botang mountain tea, Xinhui tangerine peel, Xinhui tangerine, Hua orange red, Zhaoqing steamed wrap, Qingyuan chicken, Dongpi cured meat, Thirty-eight companies (see attachment) with 15 products including Fenghuang Dancong (Cong) Tea, Wucuo Huaishan, and Luoding Rice respectively submitted applications for the use of special signs for geographical indications to the market supervision and management department where the products are located. After approval by the relevant market supervision and management department, After review and approval by the Guangdong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, it is now registered. From now on, the above-mentioned enterprises shall be approved to use the special signs of geographical indications on the geographical indication products they produce and obtain the protection of geographical indication products.
