Q: What materials do I need to submit to file an application for patent priority examination?
A：According to the provisions of Article 8 of the Measures for the Administration of Patent Priority Examination, Decree No. 76 of the State Intellectual Property Office, where an applicant submits a request for priority examination of an application for a patent for invention, utility model or design, it shall submit a request for priority examination, prior art or prior design information materials and relevant supporting documents; In addition to the circumstances in item 5 of Article 3 of these Measures, the request for priority review shall be signed by the relevant department of The State Council or the provincial intellectual property office.
