On July 26, Guangdong’s provincial market supervision work conference for the first half of 2022 was held. By the end of June, Guangdong’s effective number of invention patents, PCT international patent applications, and valid registered trademarks and other indicators rank first in the country.

In terms of assisting market entities, the Provincial Administration for Market Regulation has issued "16 Articles" to accurately assist market entities and increase policy supply. Under the intellectual property financial innovation promotion plan implemented in the first half of the year, the amount of patent and trademark pledge financing was 26.75 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 66.6%, ranking second in the country. At the same time, Guangdong is committed to reducing enterprise costs, improving enterprise technical capabilities, strengthening price supervision of key areas, key links, and key commodities; focusing on 100 key products and industries, carrying out quality enhancement activities and certification for no less than 10,000 companies Elevate action. By the end of June, there were 15.725 million market entities of various types in the province, an increase of 3.0% from the end of 2021, ranking first in the country in number.
In terms of being a strong province in intellectual property, the province ranks first in the country in terms of the number of effective invention patents, the number of PCT international patent applications, and the number of valid registered trademarks.
