What is the difference between a trademark and a logo?

1. Concept

2. Acquisition method
The trademark shall be obtained by submitting an application for trademark registration to the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office and obtaining approval for registration; Once the original design of the LOGO is completed, it is protected by the Copyright law. According to the Copyright law, works of Chinese citizens, legal persons or other organizations, whether published or not, shall enjoy copyright in accordance with this Law.
3. Duration of protection
The term of validity of the exclusive right to use a trademark is 10 years from the date of approval of registration. If you want to continue to use it, you can renew it. LOGO, as a graphic symbol, belongs to works of art and enjoys copyright, which is divided into personal rights and property rights of works. Among them, the right of authorship, the right of modification and the right to protect the integrity of works are related to specific personal rights, which are permanently protected by law. The protection period of property rights of works is a number of years, and the author is a citizen. The term of protection shall be from the lifetime of the author to December 31 of 50 years after his death, or from December 31 of the 50th year after the first publication of the work if the author is a legal person or other organization.
