Cape Verde joins PCT Treaty and Paris Convention

On April 6, 2022, Cape Verde deposited its approval document for joining the PCT with the World Intellectual Property Organization. Since then, Cape Verde has become the 156th member of the PCT, and its accession will be on July 6, 2022. Effective from now on. In other words, starting from July 6, 2022, PCT international applications will automatically designate Cape Verde. Starting from July 6, 2022, nationals and residents of Cape Verde will have the right to submit PCT applications. On April 6, 2022, Cape Verde deposited the ratification document to join the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property. Since then, Cape Verde has become the 179th member state of the Paris Convention, and its accession will also take place on July 6, 2022. Take effect.
