In order to strengthen the publicity and education of intellectual property rights, enhance the awareness of intellectual property rights in the whole society, and stimulate the innovative vitality and motivation of the whole society, the Public Service Department of the State Intellectual Property Office, in conjunction with the National Library, the national intellectual property information public service network unit, held this year’s World Book Day and World Knowledge During the Property Rights Day, we jointly carried out intellectual property publicity and exchange activities.

The event closely follows the theme of the National Intellectual Property Publicity Week - "Comprehensively Starting a New Journey to Build a Powerful Nation on Intellectual Property", combined with the National Library's rich collection of documentary information resources, through video broadcasts, graphic and text displays, on-site interactions, operational experiences, etc. A popular science education exhibition on “Protecting Intellectual Property and Leading Knowledge Sharing” is held for the general public to popularize basic knowledge of intellectual property, demonstrate achievements in intellectual property development, and publicize the national strategy for intellectual property. During the event, relevant responsible comrades from the Public Service Department of the Bureau conducted an on-site investigation of the intellectual property information service work of the National Library, and exchanged views on how to tap into and utilize the superior resources of public libraries to carry out high-quality intellectual property information public services.
Joint service outlets to carry out intellectual property science popularization activities are one of the specific measures to continue to promote the implementation of the project to improve intellectual property public service capabilities. In the next step, the State Intellectual Property Office will continue to conscientiously implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on intellectual property public services, accelerate the construction of an intellectual property public service system that is convenient and beneficial to the people, strengthen the dissemination and utilization of intellectual property information, and strive to build novel content and diverse forms. , integrated and developed intellectual property cultural communication matrix to help build a strong intellectual property country.
