● To apply for the cancellation of a registered trademark, an application shall be filed with the Trademark Office three years after the date of the announcement of the registration of the trademark. It should be noted that the application for cancellation of the trademark approved by the opposition ruling before May 1, 2014, shall be filed with the Trademark Office three years after the date of the announcement of the trademark opposition ruling;
● To apply for the cancellation of the Madrid International registered trademark, an application shall be filed with the Trademark Office three years after the expiration of the rejection period of the international registration application of the trademark; An application shall be filed with the Trademark Office three years after the expiration of the administrative decision, if it is still in the process of reviewing or objecting to the rejection at the expiration of the time limit for rejection;
● If the party concerned is not satisfied with the decision made by the Trademark Office, it may apply to the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board for review within 15 days from the date of receipt of the cancellation decision.
