Can a foreign trademark not registered in China be used domestically?

Trademark rights are territorial in nature. Trademark rights obtained in a country according to the local law can only be protected within the jurisdiction of that country, the protection of other countries in accordance with the international treaties or reciprocity principle of joint participation. Foreign trademarks not registered by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce do not enjoy the exclusive right to registered trademarks and may not be used; foreign trademarks not registered in China may be used in China as unregistered trademarks, but must comply with the relevant provisions of the Trademark Law, and if it infringes on the exclusive right to registered trademarks of other people in China, it shall be subject to the relevant legal liabilities in accordance with the provisions of the Trademark Law.
