Q: What are the grounds for revocation of the exclusive right to an integrated circuit layout design?
A: Article 29 of the Rules for the Implementation of the Regulations for the Protection of Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits stipulates that where the registered exclusive right to a layout design does not comply with the provisions of Article 2(1)(2), Article 3, Article 4, Article 5, Article 12 or Article 17 of the Regulations for the Protection of Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits, it shall be revoked.
