Answer: Currently, international applications can be submitted to the Chinese Bureau in two forms: paper application or electronic application.
Electronic applications require the use of the patent business processing system website and the patent business processing system client to submit application documents in electronic form. If you use the patent business processing system website or the patent business processing system client to submit an electronic application, you can go to the patent business processing system column https://www.cnipa.gov.cn/col/col3122/index.html for more information.
Paper application documents should be submitted to the "PCT Section of the Patent Office Acceptance Division of the State Intellectual Property Office". Local patent agencies do not accept PCT international applications. Applicants can submit paper applications by mail or in person.
